Jeddicon was a Worldcon bid for it to be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in 2022 chaired by Yasser Bahjatt. The convention would have been held on a weekend near May 4, 2022, but it lost to Chicago in 2022 by 517 votes to 33, amid concerns about Saudi Arabia's human rights record.
