An apa organized by Fred Isaacs in late 1985 to be used to discuss the tizzy that smofdom was thrown into by the Archon Tax Exemption Problems which at the time seemed to be threatening the possibility of conventions continuing to benefit from 501(c)(3) status. Deborah Ferree was announced as the first OE. It is not known if it got off the ground.
Mike Glyer (who worked professionally for the IRS) was unimpressed by the level of knowledge shown by the announcment. See File 770 56, p. 8.
