Jeffrey Scott VanderMeer is an American writer, editor, teacher, and publisher. He is best known for his stories about the city of Ambergris, in books like City of Saints and Madmen. He is also the author of the 2014 series called The Southern Reach Trilogy. He is married to and often works with Ann VanderMeer. He published fanzine Jabberwocky.
