Disclave 33 was a convention held Memorial Day weekend, May 25–29, 1989, in Washington, DC. Lucius Shepard was GoH. J. K. Potter was Art GoH. Michael J. Walsh chaired.

Evan Phillips' Discave out-did his previous one. It was done as an English Village and was scented with fresh funnel cake. His consuites inspired Noreascon 3, Boskone and others to new flights of fancy.

Walsh produced a book of Shepard's short stories, Father of Stones for this Disclave. {Was this a WSFA Press book?}
