Bill Trojan, a fan from Eugene, Oregon, was a huckster and owner of Escape Books. He organized Orcon, a convention to be held in 1977, but was forced to cancel it. With Chip Sullivan and Pam Berryman, Trojan published at least one issue of a fanzine called Braynwod "a medieval term meaning frenzied," beginning in 1972.
He died in a hotel room in Reno, NV, shortly after Renovation, which he had attended.
