A club located in Ottawa, Canada which existed in two incarnations.

The first was founded in late 1948 and was affiliated with the Canadian Science Fiction Association. Lew Holland was President, Ron Anger was secretary and Jack Bowie-Reed was Liaison Officer. It was defunct by early 1951.

The second, which sponsored Maplecon was founded in 1977 by Marc Gerin-LaJoie. It is also known as OSFS which is pronounced "Oss-Fuss". Its clubzine is The OSFS Statement.

It started with around 150 members, but soon stabilized at 80-100. In 2012 it switched from formal monthly meetings to informal dinner meetings.

Club Website 1948
This is a club page. Please extend it by adding information about when and where the club met, when and by whom it was founded, how long it was active, notable accomplishments, well-known members, clubzines, any conventions it ran, external links to the club's website, other club pages, etc.

When there's a floreat (Fl.), this indicates the time or times for which we have found evidence that the club existed. This is probably not going to represent the club's full lifetime, so please update it if you can!
