Southwestercon VI

The first Southwestercon was held in at the Hotel Dallas in Dallas, TX July 4-6, 1958. The GoH was Marion Zimmer Bradley (replacing Fredric Brown who was ill and died not long after.) It was chaired by Tom Reamy and Randy Brown. It was sponsored by the DFS. It included a banquet ($2.75), a masquerade ball, and the premier of a new movie, The Space Children.

It was at this convention that the DFS voted to disband.
