A not-for-profit club located in the Houston, TX area which sponsors ApolloCon and REVELcon. It describes its goals as to:
- Serve as an information and referral agency
- Encourage the development of Science Fiction literary organizations.
- Discover needs in area fandom and promote ways to fill them.
In 1983, when MysteryCon's committee split, the larger part left and turned what would have been MysterCon 8 into Con Tex (or Contex). See File 770 41, p. 19.
