Huttcon '90

National S.F. Media Con. held 23-25 November 1990 at The Diplomat Hotel, Ackland St, St. Kilda, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Chairbeing: Karen Pender-Gunn Guests of Honour included Ed Bishop, and Norman, Margaret & Rebecca Hetherington (of Mr. Squiggle). Marjorie Cammer was Fan GoH via a raffle.

The name of the convention was based on a hoax bid back in 1980 to host the 1990 Worldcon in Hutt River Province. In the meantime, Revenge of the Jedi (released in 1983) had introduced the character of Jabba the Hutt.
