The 1991 Worldcon, and fifth in Chicago, Chicon V was held August 29 to September 2 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. GoHs: Hal Clement, Martin H. Greenberg, and Richard Powers. FGoHs: Jon & Joni Stopa. Marta Randall was Toastmaster. It was sponsored by ISFIC and chaired by Kathleen Meyer.

It arose from the Chicago in '91 bid and hosted the 1994 Worldcon Site Selection.
