The 1965 Open ESFA was held on March 7, 1965 at the Newark, NJ YMCA. The theme this year was "Salute to Galaxy". Fred Pohl, Willy Ley, H. L. Gold, Groff Conklin, Alfred Bester and Harry Harrison were on the program.
