The 14th World Fantasy Convention (which incorporated Fantasycon XIII) was held in 1988 at the Ramada Inn, in London, England. The GoH was James Herbert, the Guest Artist was Michael Foreman, and the Special Guest was Diana Wynne Jones. The convention's theme was "Gaslight & Ghosts', the toastmaster was Clive Barker and it was chaired by Stephen Jones and Jo Fletcher.
