(1) An Old Abbreviation for Fanzine[edit]
From Fancyclopedia 2, ca. 1959 |
(Brazier:Joquel) Abbreviation for fanzine. Pronounced "femz" but distinguished from "femmes" by accompanying the latter word with a whistle and descriptive gesture. |
While it is an abbreviation for fanzine, it actually comes from "Fan MagaZine".
(2) A Fanzine by Alan Shaw[edit]
A fanzine by Alan Shaw of Far Rockaway, NY.
