The World Fantasy Awards (also called the Howard Awards) are given annually at the World Fantasy Conventions in a variety of categories, including a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Attending and supporting members of the WFC are eligible to nominate potential winners, but final decisions are made by a panel of judges.

Only living persons are eligible.
