Presented September 9, 1957 at Loncon.
This was the fourth year the Hugos were presented, and, while they had become a clear Tradition, the Loncon committee massively changed the categories, dropping the number from nine at NyCon II to four. Again there was no shortlist of nominations but there was a vote of the membership to select the winners. (See Early Hugo voting.)
