Peter Mansfield was a fan from Slough, UK active from the late 1950s. He was a member of the Young Science Fiction Reading Group, the Hyborian Legion, the Burroughs Bibliophiles and the Fellowship of the Ring. He published Eldritch Dream Quest (originally titled Dreamquest) and Miscellany.
In Who's Who in Science Fiction Fandom (1961) he gave his interests as collecting fantastic literature books and records (modern jazz) and said he corresponded with many fans in several countries. He was particularly interested in mythology and folklore.
