Based on that and other sources not at hand just now, I thought he died at a Veteran's Administration hospital, not in a small town in southwestern Mexico. Is the account in Wandering Bishops credible? That account also has some of Mike's ashes dispersed at sea and other ashes held by the author of Wandering Bishops. No doubt pointless for me to be concerned with the location of Mike's death, long after his role in sf fandom.
