Bill gave his address as 1084 Portola Drive, San Francisco in a letter to Rog Phillips' Clubhouse published in February 1950, and 3046 Jackson St in the NorWesCon PR2 member list later in the year, but no census records for those addresses match his name. He was clearly moving around a bit at the time.
Spatium 5, September 1949, shows he was already in San Francisco at the time, though.
