James Gurney is a SF and fantasy artist and author, best known for his illustrated book series Dinotopia. He attended the University of California, Berkeley (Phi Beta Kappa) and the Art Center College of Design, Pasadena. He lives in Rhinebeck, New York, in the Hudson Valley of New York State. His art has been published by most of the major paperback houses.
