A social event at conventions aimed at encouraging pros to mingle with fans, and often providing incentives in the form of free drinks for the former.[1]
The name is somewhat of a misnomer, since normally all program participants at the con are invited, not merely the pros or just the GoHs. (Some conventions call this the Meet the Program Participants event.)
There may be an MC who points out who the pros and BNFs in attendance are.
