The Hastings S-F Conference was allegedly held in Hastings, Minnesota, on November 29, 1942; “if so, it was an alcoholic affair, judging by the report of it which was published,” according to Fancyclopedia 1, which, unfortunately, doesn’t say where.
Hastings was at that time home to Phil Bronson and Morris Scott Dollens; it seems likely this was a Minneapolis Fantasy Society event.
