Novacon 28 was held November 13-15, 1998 at the Britannia Hotel in Birmingham, UK. The GoH was Paul J. McAuley and attendance was 265.
Ian Sorensen staged a fannish musical which was a send-up of Croydon Fandom, My Claire Lady, starring Julia Daly and Chris O'Shea with guest appearances from Pat McMurray and Noel Collyer.
