A Philadelphia fan, Allison Williams (later Allison Phillips) was a member of PSFS and an editor of its OO, Variant, in 1947. She attended Cinvention in 1949.
She was a daughter of James Williams, president of the club. Allison also served as president of PSFS. She married Alexander Phillips, a pro who became a PSFS president, too. The family tradition of fannish involvement continued with Margaret Trebing, Allison and Alexander’s daughter, who also became a PSFS officer.
