The 2008 Worldcon, and third in Denver, Denvention 3 was held August 6-10 2008 at the Sheraton and the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, CO. GoHs:Lois McMaster Bujold (pro) Rick Sternbach (artist), Kathy Mar (special music) Robert A. Heinlein (ghost). FGoH: Tom Whitmore. Wil McCarthy was Toastmaster. Chaired by Kent Bloom.
Bidders: Denver in 2008, Chicago in 2008, and Columbus in 2008. Denver won by 12 votes. Hollister in 2008 bid, but was not on the ballot. See 2008 Worldcon Site Selection.
