NECON, the North-East Science Fiction Convention, was a one-day convention organized by Derek Pickles and held at Pat's Cafe, Dudley Hill Top in Bradford, UK on Sunday October 14, 1951 from noon to 10pm. Joyce and Ken Slater were the GoHs, though Joyce Slater was unable to attend. Attendance was 48.
