Octocon 8 (Eurocon 20), was a convention held October 25-27, 1997 at Dublin Castle, in Dublin. The GoH was Harry Harrison . There was also a "Small-Press GoH", Chris Reed. The original GoH announced was Robert Jordan, however he had to withdraw before the event.
