The 1968 TAFF race was between Steve Stiles, Ted Johnstone and Ed Cox.
Stiles and Johnstone tied on the first ballot, but when the votes for Ed Cox were redistributed, Stiles had won, 61 to 58.
This is the first time there was no first round winner in a TAFF race. There were only 15 European voters.
