Intervention 1 was a convention held November 2-5, 1979 at the Ramada Inn in Salt Lake City, UT. The GoHs were Robert Silverberg, Damon Knight and Kate Wilhelm. The Fan GoH was Don C. Thompson. Ed Bryant was toastmaster.
