Alter ego of Ann Arbor fan Larry Tucker, who starred in many of Larry's videotapes, notably FAAnS, and who was the nominal editor behind Uncle Albert's Electric Talking Fanzine and Uncle Albert's Video Fanzine.
Named in homage to both Albert Einstein and the Paul McCartney song, Uncle Albert wore a big plastic Groucho nose and glasses (with the mustache trimmed off because Larry had one of his own), a gray lab coat covered with slogan buttons and badges and a striped engineer's cap. He spoke in a higher pitched voice than Larry's.
Uncle Albert's appearances on video were usually accompanied by a few bars of his theme song, a marching-band rendition of "The Washington and Lee Swing."
