Baycon 2000 was held May 26–29, 2000 at the San Jose DoubleTree Hotel in San Jose, CA. The theme was "Yesterday's Tomorrows". Author GoH was Esther Friesner, Artist GoH was Baron Engel, Fan GoH was Dave Clark, Special Guests were Neil Norman and the Cosmic Orchestra starring Tim Russ (Tuvok of Star Trek:Voyager), Poul and Karen Anderson, John and Bjo Trimble, and Toastmaster was Kent Brewster. Chair was Amy-Elyse Patterson. The con's charity was the Friends of the California Air & Space Center, for which they raised $4,478. Attendance was 1873 members.
