Ray Bradbury was a UK from Birmingham, UK. He was a member of the Birmingham Science Fiction Group and is best known as the designer and manufacturer since the mid-1990s of the Nova Awards, presented annually at Novacon until 2014.
His brief obituary in Ansible #249 noted that:
