A Philadelphia fan, Helen Cloukey was a member of PSFS and an editor of its OO, Variant, in 1947. She attended the 1938 Philadelphia Conference and Philcon in 1947, and authored a number of stories for Fantascience Digest in the late 1930s.
In the Philcon Memory Book, Alexander Phillips described her as an “austere and forceful” lady.
