Steve Francis, a Louisville conrunning fan, along with his wife, Sue Francis, was the mainstay of Rivercon for its 25 years. He has worked on numerous other regionals and Worldcons. He was co-head of the Louisville in '94 Worldcon bid.

He and Sue administer the Big Heart Award and are part of the team behind FranHurst.
