Detroit in '59 was a bid sponsored by the Misfits to hold the Worldcon in Detroit in 1959. It's opposition was Big 'D' in '59 and Chicago: 1959. Detroit won and ran Detention. It published a fanzine, Detroit Propaganda in support of the bid.
