(1946 --)
Thomas F. Monteleone is an American SF and horror fiction author who is probably best known for his horror. He is known for the Dragonstar series of novels (with David Bischoff), and a recent standalone novel was Submerged (2015). He was a member of the Guilford Gafia.
In what should have been an honor, his book Seeds of Change was selected to be the first Laser Book. Enormous quantities were printed and distributed free of charge to promote the new line. Unfortunately, this meant that the used book market was flooded with copies and it immediately became a joke that here was a book impossible even to give away.
Awards, Honors and GoHships:
- 1974 -- Campbell Award nominee
- 1989 -- Fantasycon XIV
- 1992 -- Necon XII
- 2009 -- Necon Hall of Fame
- 4-time winner of the Bram Stoker Award.
