A New Orleans fan and pro. He was one of the editors of the NOSFA clubzine NOLAZine. He was particularly interested in the works of Edgar Rice Burroughs publishing a Burroughs bibliography and, with John Guidry, founding the Tarzana Project.

He also founded the small press PDA Enterprises to publish his ERB bibliography and to print unpublished and out-of-print work by other pulp SF authors.
