The Middle Earthworm

A Tolkien newsletter co-edited by Beryl Mercer and Archie Mercer with 29 issues published between October, 1968 and June, 1976. It was then continued under the new title The Once and Future Worm with its focus shifted to Arthurian material. Archie Mercer was British agent for the Tolkien Society of America and created the newsletter for its British members.
