Taos Toolbox is a a two-week "Master Class in SF and Fantasy" designed to give talented writers the information necessary to "reach the next level." Emphasis is upon writing the novel rather than the short story. The workshop is held during the summer in Taos, New Mexico.
As of 2016, the Taos Toolbox has been in existence for six years, with graduates nominated for six Hugo awards.
