Hexacon 1 was held January 5-7, 1979 at the Host Towne Hotel in Lancaster, PA. The GoHs were C. J. Cherryh and Stu Shiffman. It was chaired by Neil Belsky and the toastmaster was Larry Carmody. Attendance was about 200.
