The 15th World Fantasy Convention was held October 27-29, 1989 at the Seattle Sheraton in Seattle, WA. The GoHs were Ursula K. LeGuin, Avram Davidson, S. P. Somtow, Robert R. McCammon, and Yoshitaka Amano.
The theme was "Roots of Fantasy: Myth, Folklore & Archetype", the toastmaster was Ginjer Buchanan and it was chaired by Robert J. Doyle.
