Margaret "Peg" Winter Campbell was the second wife of SF author/editor John W. Campbell, Jr.
Asimov once introduced her as “the velvet glove around the iron fist!”
A tribute to her by George O. Smith was published in the February, 1980, issue of Isaac Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine. Smith married John Campbell's first wife, Dona, after she and Campbell divorced.
