FenCon I was a convention held from September 24-26, 2004 at the Holiday Inn Select North Dallas in Farmers Branch, TX. The Guests of Honor were Larry Niven, Michael Longcor and Jim Murray.
It was chaired by Michael Nelson, the toastmaster was Elizabeth Moon, and the con had the theme "Of the Fen, By the Fen, and For the Fen." Attendance was 322. Ardath Mayhar was a special guest.
