Vernon Wilfred Harry was a fan in pre-war Los Angeles. He was a member of LASFS and the UK's Science Fiction Association (SFA). He was also the founder of the very short-lived (but very sonorously named) World Girdlers' International Science League Correspondence Club. He was born in Manitoba, Canada, but emigrated to the US and served in the War. He doesn't appears to have been fannishly after after the War.
