Tracy Raye Hickman is an American fantasy author who has written, or co-written, dozens of novels. He is best known for his work as a writer on the Dragonlance novels with Margaret Weis.

In 2006, Hickman, Mur Lafferty, and Michael R. Mennenga founded the Parsec Awards, which recognize excellence in speculative fiction podcasting.
