Site Selection for the 2002 Worldcon was conducted by Aussiecon 3, the 1999 Worldcon. On the ballot was Bay Area in 2002 and a Roswell in 2002 hoax bid. (Berlin in 2002 and Seattle in 2002 dropped out of the race before filing, in Seattle's case, because they lost their facilities.)
