ERBapa was founded in 1984 and modeled after other typical amateur press societies, one which would allow ERB fans to share their "comments, etc." ERBapa 124 appeared in Winter, 2015. It is still axctive as of 2024 at which time the OE was Scott Stewart.

John decided to limit membership to 36 -- to commemorate the age at which ERB began writing.
