Arlin Robins is an artist who was born and raised in the Chicago area. She earned a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts at the Art Institute of Chicago. Since then she has been living in northern California, near San Francisco. She created the base for the 1993 Hugo Award Trophy and the Robert A. Heinlein Award medallion.
