Steven John Davidson, a New Hampshire fan active since the 1970s, when he lived in New Jersey, acquired the then-moribund Amazing Stories in 2012, reviving it first as an online fanzine, then with ebook and webzine issues, and ultimately, with help from Kickstarter, as a print magazine in August 2018. He also revived Experimenter Publishing Company, a Hugo Gernsback company, and published Amazing anthologies and books, until stepping down in November 2022.

He worked Suncon, the 1977 Worldcon, in the Hugo Awards subcommittee and running the banquet.

He moved to Palm Beach, Florida in 2021.
