Francis Paul Wilson is an American author, primarily of SF and horror. He earned a medical degree in 1973, and espouses a libertarian political philosophy. He is known primarily for the novels in his two series: The Adversary Cycle and Repairman Jack.

He is a fan of H. P. Lovecraft, and states he was introduced to HPL's writings by Donald Wollheim.
