David A. Hardy is a British space artist, who has been publishing SF art since 1970. His work has appeared on the covers of hundreds of books, SF magazines like Analog and in space magazines like Sky and Telescope
He is Vice President of the Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy Artists and European Vice President of the International Association of Astronomical Artists.
